Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has left a lasting impression on the tiny screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Her move to Texas to pursue an occupation as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor on local independent films, as well as worldwide commercials. Despite small roles, she quickly discovered her passion for acting. When she moved into New York, in 2001 she got her first role as an actor on All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 she had small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004 on the brief dramatic The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in the year 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008 she took home one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments further. She played Marisol Deko as Horatio Caine's wife. The most recent television appearance was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's slightly more dark-hearted show Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The mother of the child is a Italian father as well as an older sister Cory whom is 10 years younger than her. Her family was very traditional and spiritual one. Milano was just seven years old when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. Her audition was among over 1,000 applicants. Her audition was considered one of just four girls. Milano was featured in TV commercials and off-Broadway shows including the first American musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
